To my knowledge, I have nothing meaningful to say in this post. I only seek to vent my rage.
The
windows in our not-so-new apartment leak bugs. Mainly fruit flies. They
mostly mingle in and around the garbage can. When you open the lid to
dispose of some foul thing, it's like spontaneous generation was never
disproved. But on Saturday, after a moist encounter with emptying the
trash -- the details are not worth going into -- I discovered that fruit
flies don't stay in the garbage if there is no waste in there.
